Terms and Conditions
We require a 50% conditionally refundable deposit when you make a booking for one of our yurts, tipi’s or other onsite accommodation. Your accommodation will be provisionally held for a period of seven days, after which your dates will be released if we haven’t received your deposit. Receipt of your deposit secures your booking. If you have booked less than four weeks in advance, we will require the full amount requested to secure your booking.
Cancellation by you:
If you cancel your holiday with us 29 days or more before your arrival date and we re-let your holiday accommodation we will refund your deposit less a 10% administration fee. If you have paid for your holiday in full and need to cancel 29 days or less before your arrival date and we are able to re-let your accommodation, we will refund your deposit less a 10% administration fee. In the event that we are unable to re-let you holiday dates, no refunds will be made. Please ensure that you take our holiday insurance if you are concerned about the prospect of having to cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances.
We recommend Glamping sites update their terms and conditions to include the following force majeure clause:
The Glamping Site are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
Cancellation by us:
Apple Camping reserves the right to cancel your yurt, tipi or accommodation at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. If we are unable to provide you with safe yurt, tipi or alternative camping accommodation due to extreme weather conditions, ill health, fire, flooding or any other circumstances outside our control we will return your payment, in full, to you. Apple Camping cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, caused by cancellation.
We encourage families and children to play and explore the surrounding area around our alternative campsite. Apple Camping is located next to a working farm with animals, tractors and associated farm equipment. The risks are small, but with this in mind, parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on site at all times. Apple Camping accepts no responsibility for injury on site.
Consideration for others:
Apple camping is a quiet and tranquil campsite, designed for your enjoyment of the location and nature. We do not allow radios, stereos or other sound systems and only quiet talking after 10.30pm. Noisy visitors who disturb other guests will be politely asked to leave, without refund.
Apple Camping cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. We are a quiet and rural location with an extremely low incidence of theft in the area.
All the yurts and alternative accommodation, including the farmhouse, are strictly NO SMOKING locations. If you smoke, you can do so outside and dispose of your cigarette ends safely and appropriately in a bin.
As with the Norchard Farmhouse, well-behaved dogs are welcome at an extra cost of £10 per week, per dog. If you plan on bringing more than two dogs per group, please contact us prior to arrival.
