The Gin Palace

No need to find your sea legs with this safely landed vessel…’Tonic’ our gin palace is an exclusive Apple Camping first – yet again! This bespoke 1982 31ft Cranchi Endurance yacht, once a jewel of the southern Mediterranean, was built in Italy and lived its previous glamorous and sometimes criminal (!) life in Croatia, Portugal, and the UK.  The owner’s mother had been inspired by seeing Apple Camping on television and insisted he donate us this boat, knowing we might well turn it into yet another magnificent glamping unit, and so we faithfully took on our latest upcycling project. We hope you love her as much as we do!

This 30ft Italian Yacht has been stripped and refurbished, turning the cabin into a modern bedroom and the deck into a relaxing chillout zone, where you can appreciate the luxuries of being on a yacht without the need to ever set sail. It’s located in the southern field just a stone’s throw away from the brand-new Sonar submarine and has access to shared facilities of a hot shower and loo nearby. There is also a kettle and toaster onboard, for your morning croissants. Cutlery, crockery and glasses are provided.

In addition to your on-deck lounging area, you will have your own garden table & chairs with a parasol to enjoy an evening bbq in the countryside, with ‘Tonic’ as your backdrop.

Footwear must not be worn on the boat. Please make a note of this before you book. We suggest you pack lightly as there is very limited storage space onboard!
